Compressor system by Kazancompressormash is put into operation at TANECO

The high-performance compressor system for wet gas compression manufactured and supplied by Kazancompressormash (HMS Group) was put into operation as a part of the new delayed coking unit of TANECO’s Oil Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (TATNEFT).

4GC1-254/2-10 centrifugal compressor system with 25,600 Nm³/h capacity, 10 bar discharge pressure and 5.0 compression ratio provides compression of heavy hydrocarbon gas with up to 2.5 kg/m³ density.

New compression system uses advanced technical solutions, which have already been implemented earlier by design engineers of NIIturbokompressor and Kazancompressormash in compressor equipment delivery projects for oil refineries in Russia and CIS countries. Main API 617 requirements were followed during the design and manufacture of the compressors.

Kazancompressormash has a considerable cooperation experience with this customer regarding engineering and manufacture of state-of-the-art compressor equipment. Since 2006 the company has delivered several large batches of compressor equipment for the systems of hydrotreating, catalytic reforming, isomerization and delayed coking of TANECO Oil Refinery and Petrochemical complex.
