HMS Group will manufacture and supply a large batch of pumping units for mining and processing divisions of ALROSA.

Pumping units based on retrofitted GrAT pumps are intended for hydrotransport of diamond-bearing pulp in the main processes at the concentrating plants. The flow path of the pumping units is made of the improved high-chrome alloy and is characterized by higher rigidity and resistance to hydroabrasive wear. The pumping units are distinguished by high energy efficiency due to application of V-belt drive (pumps with up to 315 KW power) and variable-frequency drive (pumps with up to 350 KW power) which will provide effective adjustment of operational parameters.

Earlier in the first quarter of 2016 HMS Group already supplied a batch of similar pumping units based on double-casing slurry pumps of GrAT series for high-abrasive slurries manufactured by Bobruisk Machine Building Plant.
