On October 7, 2016 in the Gazprom's central office Deputy Chairman of the Board V. Markelov and President of HMS Group A. Molchanov signed a long-term contract for the manufacturing and supply of import-substituting products by Kazancompressormash – a part of HMS Group. The signing took place in the presence of Gazprom Chairman of the Board A. Miller, President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan A.Karimov.

Under the contractual terms Kazancompressormash will provide series manufacturing, supplies and maintenance of MKU TAKAT modular compressor systems based on rotary screw compressors.

New generation state-of-the-art compressor systems MKU TAKAT are intended for stripper well applications and provide a solution for low pressure gas extraction. The systems, engineered using advanced technical solutions, meet the requirements of the API 619 standard. The compressor systems fully comply with Gazprom requirements and demonstrate the best technical performance for this type of equipment.

Kazancompressormash is an active participant in Gazprom programs for main process equipment import substitution. The company has successfully implemented a number of projects for the manufacture of compressor equipment for Ekaterinovka, Pisarevka, Bubnovka, Zavolzhskaya compressor stations and the Punginskoye underground gas storage facility.
